Fusion Thanks 900,000 Loyal Customers with the Industry's First 24-Hour Toll-Free Calling Campaign on New Year's Day 2002

Fusion Communications Corporation has signed up 900,000 line subscribers as of November 7. The company will celebrate this occasion by conducting a New Year's Day 2002 Free Calling Campaign, the first 24-hour toll-free calling campaign in the telecommunications industry.

During this campaign, all long-distance phone calls throughout Japan, regardless of number or length, made through Fusion will be free for 24 hours starting at midnight on New Year's Day, January 1, 2002. This campaign offers service completely free of charge, without restrictions such as call charge limits, and is the first of its kind in the telecommunications industry.

The campaign not only is open to existing customers of Fusion, regardless of whether or not they have registered Fusion as their desired MYLINE carrier, but also is open to all new customers who sign up during the campaign acceptance period (see accompanying sheet for details about the campaign).

Since April 1 of this year, when the company commenced long-distance and international telephone service, a large number of customers--over 900,000 lines--have used Fusion. And as of the end of October, 1.5% of the customers who had completed MYLINE registration for calls outside the prefecture had selected Fusion as their desired carrier.

This campaign is a way for Fusion to thank its customers for this loyal support, and to live up to its corporate philosophy of returning profits to customers.

The first day of the New Year is a special day, and on this special day Fusion wants as many people as possible to enjoy the direct human-voice communication that only the telephone can offer. When one person takes advantage of this campaign--for example, by calling to offer New Year's greetings to family members and friends they cannot see in person, or to talk with people they do not communicate with on an everyday basis--many people can benefit.

* Long distance call charges will be waived on New Year's Day 2002.
* Campaign covers calls during the campaign period from all numbers of customers registered with Fusion.
* During the campaign, customers can make any number of calls, of any duration, free of charge.
* For customers with multiple phone lines, the campaign covers every phone number (every phone line).

Period
Calls completed within 24 hours starting at midnight on January 1, 2002. (For calls extending beyond the 24-hour period, even calls initiated within the 24-hour period on January 1, call charges will apply from the start time to the ending time of the call.)

Eligibility and Deadlines
1. Customers who have completed registration with Fusion on or before November 24.
2. People who call in to the Call Center between November 24 and December 24, and sign contracts at that time.
3. People who sign contracts via the Internet between November 24 and 10:00 P.M. on December 31.
4. People who mail in applications postmarked from November 24 through December 8.
