Fusion and Nakayo Telecommunications Team Up to Offer IP Telephone Terminals for Business Customers
NYC-iZ100v2 Digital Business Phone Works with FUSION IP-Phone Service

Fusion Communications Corporation and Nakayo Telecommunications Inc. have teamed up as device partners to offer phone sets for use with Fusion's IP subscriber telephone service, FUSION IP-Phone. The new telephone sets are designed for corporate customers.

The newest line of Nakayo's NYC-iZ Series of digital business phones will become available on June 20. The new telephone sets, the NYC-iZ100v2 lineup, have a built-in IP interface compatible with FUSION IP-Phone.

The Fusion Service Partner Alliance is a policy that Fusion has adopted to expand the IP telephone market based on an "open ISP" and "open vendor" approach. Nakayo has emphasized low cost and high quality in the NYC-iZ100v2 lineup of its NYC-iZ Series in an effort to expand IP telephone service for business customers based on Fusion's "open vendor" concept.

Seeking to bring IP telephone service into widespread use, Nakayo is proposing the construction of intracompany IP networks using IP-VPNs and Internet VPNs. The company also seeks to expand its share of the business phone market by adding a wide array of sales channels to its existing routes.

Through their alliance, both Nakayo and Fusion hope to expand the FUSION IP-Phone service for corporate customers.
