Fusion Communications Corporation recently formed a device partnership alliance with Icom Inc. to provide FUSION IP-Phone, Fusion's IP subscriber telephone service. Icom's SR-21VoIP wireless broadband router with IP phone function, already available on the market, has been made compatible with FUSION IP-Phone. This is the first wireless LAN product on the market to support FUSION IP-Phone.

After purchasing the SR-21VoIP at an electronics store or other outlet, consumers can sign up for the FUSION GOL ISP service and FUSION IP-Phone and are ready to use FUSION IP-Phone. A free firmware update will soon be made available for download from the Icom website for customers who have previously purchased the SR-21VoIP router.

Icom plans to continue developing products for the FUSION IP-Phone platform as both companies work together to expand FUSION IP-Phone services based on the partnership.
