Fusion and Alexon Team Up to Offer IP Telephone Terminals for Business Customers
IPA201 IP Phone Adapter Works with FUSION IP-Phone Service

Fusion Communications Corp. and Alexon Co., Ltd. have teamed up as device partners to offer an IP telephone adapter, the IPA201, for use with Fusion's IP subscriber telephone service, FUSION IP-Phone.

The Fusion Service Partner Alliance is a policy that Fusion has adopted to expand the IP telephone market based on an "open ISP" and "open vendor" approach. Alexon developed the high-performance IPA201 IP phone adapter in an effort to expand IP telephone service for business customers based on Fusion's "open vendor" concept.

The IPA201 comes with a single ISDN port (U interface) for easy connection to a corporate customer's existing INS-compatible business phones. Because the existing phone's functions do not change, it is easier to introduce FUSION IP-Phone and thereby lower telephone costs.

The IPA201 also offers voice priority QoS (Quality of Service) and an "echo canceller" for high-quality voice transmission.

Alexon aims to develop and market more devices for use with FUSION IP-Phone to meet customers' needs. Through the alliance, the two companies will work together to expand the FUSION IP-Phone service for business customers.
