Fusion Partners with AudioCodes/PALTEK in IP Phone Gateway Devices for Enterprises
PRI Gateway "MediantTM2000" with Advanced Features Compatible with FUSION IP-Phone
Fusion Communications Corporation has entered into a device partnership with PALTEK, the exclusive representative of AudioCodes Ltd. in Japan, for FUSION IP-Phone, Fusion's IP subscriber telephone service. As of today, the MediantTM2000 VoIP gateway, produced by AudioCodes, is compatible with FUSION IP-Phone.
Customers can use the FUSION IP-Phone service simply by plugging the MediantTM2000 into the PRI interface of an existing PBX system and applying for FUSION IP-Phone service.
The AudioCodes MediantTM2000 is a standards-compliant VoIP media gateway (PRI gateway) that helps to lower costs and improve time-to-market. The gateway comes in a space-saving 1U package and can handle from one to 16 PRI links.
* Supports the T1/E1 CAS signaling protocols for connecting to the PSTN.
The MediantTM2000 is also equipped with a PRI line expansion feature, allowing use of the same hardware when adding FUSION IP-Phone line access.
